PROJECT

NEW 90T Crane

Cargo Secure recently purchased a new crane with lifting capabilities of 90T. It was with the help of the New Anglia Small Grant Scheme which is part funded by the European Regional Development Fund, who contributed to the purchase allowing us to expand our current Out of Gauge Depot to now handle the largest of sea cargo.

This piece of machinery really opens up other services that we can help offer including:

  1. Breakbulk cargo- If your cargo has arrived in Port to early either on its export or import leg, we can have the cargo collected and unload and store on our site at a fraction of the cost for keeping the goods on the terminal.
  2. Increased capacity- The new crawler crane is able to move around the yard much quicker and easier allowing us to increase our overall capacity on a daily basis.
  3. Hold larger pieces of cargo for longer periods of time.

This crane has enabled Cargo Secure to maintain competitive as larger pieces of cargo can now be secured to flatracks than previous.

Please get in contact to find out more.
