PROJECT
42 Tonne Mill Roller
Over the years we have loaded in excess of 150 mill rollers, these have been predominantly loaded onto a 40ft flatracks. The issue with this particular piece of cargo is its density; the footprint of the cargo to weight ratio means the weight has to be spread.
In order to spread the cargo weight we used 6×6 timber and built a tower of timber at each end of the cargo to spread the weight longitudinally on the flat rack.
The cargo is then secured with steel wire rope and ratchet straps, once completed then sheeted to protect from the elements.
