Damaged Containers

We frequently handle containers that have been damaged or those that are complicated or difficult. In this instance a vessel went through a tsunami and ended up damaging a number of containers that arrived in Felixstowe.

Instructed by several shipping lines, agents and various insurance companies, we collected the containers from quay bringing them back to our site. We then cut open the container to allow the team safe and easy access. The goods were then unloaded, palletised and distributed to the end customer.

This allowed the end customer to receive their cargo and saved all parties from various additional costs. The final stage was to dispose of the remnants of the container.
