8 x 41 Tonne Crates

We were awarded this contract by a well know electrical company to load 8 x 41 ton cased transformers. This particular job was very time critical, having just 3 days to load all cases and meet its designated vessel.

The small footprint and the weight of the cargo meant that we had to use timber to spread the weight over the total width of the flat rack. As you can also see in the photos below all lashing points on the flatrack were used to secure the cargo.

With this job being a complete success we have now been awarded phase 2 of this project.
