100,000 New Tyres

Last year Cargo Secure won the contract to unload and store over 100,000 brand new tyres. At the time the warehouse was very full, but not one to turn down a challenge we started moving various other projects around to fit all of the tyres in.

Although the cargo doesn’t stack too well, we developed a good technique to store all of the tyres per container without them getting mixed.

It took up roughly 50,000 SqFt, and was on storage for 4-5 months. The loads couldn’t have gone out at a better time, with a major supermarket chain coming on board to take the majority of the space we had free.
